Here at the Yorba Linda Ice Palace, hockey is offered year round. There are typically 3 seasons per year, each session running about 16 weeks. Additionally, we offer mini camps and extra skills clinics on available weekends. USA HOCKEY REGISTRATION This year ALL players, Youth and Adult, MUST register and pay their annual USA Hockey dues of $32.00 online, using this link: https://www.usahockeyregistration.com/. Please be sure to print the receipt and return it to the hockey office. You MUST turn in your confirmation to be eligible to play. ADULT HOCKEY programs offer fun, safe, competitive and affordable ice hockey for adults of all skill levels. All leagues are non-check, and all games are officiated by two referees, providing a safe and enjoyable hockey experience. Leagues are offered at all different skill levels, from true beginners to seasoned advanced players, ensuring that you'll find just the right level of competition that you are looking for. INTERMEDIATE - highly skilled players with at least 5 years or more of experience NOVICE A - for players with 3 to 5 years of hockey experience looking for an easy-going level of intensity. NOVICE B - for beginner players with less than three years of hockey experience looking to take the next step up in their skill development. NOVICE C - a beginner level league for players who are new to the game and are looking to develop their skills in a completely recreational environment. Novice C teams compete in inter-rink play. BEGINNER LEVEL HOCKEY TOURNAMENT - Thanksgiving weekend! Check back for details. STICKTIME is available Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays from 5:00 to 6:00pm at only $15.00 per session, goalies $6.00. This open ice format allows players to work individually on their skating and puck handling, or even to get extra shooting practice on one of the goalies in each corner of the rink. Full equipment is required; all ages are welcome (youth and adult), first come first served! ADULT PICKUP HOCKEY is offered on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday afternoons from 12:15pm to 1:45pm. Players at least 15 years old are welcome. Full equipment is required; all levels of ability are welcome to participate. First come, first served, with a maximum of 30 players (15 per side). To reserve a spot, call (714) 692-8776 in the morning and leave your name (must arrive 30 minutes early to keep reservation). $15.00, First 2 Goalies get PAID $10 and other Goalies skate for free!
